Massage Therapy is the manipulation of the muscles and soft tissues to relieve pain and tension. Aides in increasing circulation, improving joint range of motion, increasing energy levels and restoring function while promoting relaxation. Massage is beneficial in treating: sprains, strains, repetitive strain injuries, sports injuries, back pain and sciatica, headaches and migraines, anxiety and depression, tendinitis and bursitis, whiplash and neck pain, prenatal and postnatal care, and TMJ Dysfunction.
Our therapists are fully trained and registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.
**Initial appointments require a minimum of 45 minutes**

Shiatsu

The word Shiatsu is Japanese. “Shi-” refers to finger, and “-atsu” means pressure. The techniques used in shiatsu include stretching, holding, and most commonly, leaning body weight into various points along key channels. Shiatsu treatments are performed fully clothed on a special mat on the floor. Sessions are 75 minutes and offered by our RMT, Taka Munemoto.
